FishComCollective review

A deathmetal soloproject is something I rarely stumble upon so I was quite interested to see how this turned out. Allow me to elaborate on the drums first. As it is a habit in soloprojects to use a drumcomputer, I expected nothing else. But I must admit, Richard did an excellent job on this one! On the non-blasting parts, the patterns are quite complex and they are perfectly timed. The drum is mixed well and sounds realistically , except for some blasts, but that is inevitable with a computer. After the first song I'm really getting into it. The riffs are tight, sometimes catchy, then again melodic or brutal. Here and there I notice a kind of heavymetal influence. The vocals are not extraordinary but they do what they have to do. I think it's a good thing they aren't mixed too much on the foreground. For a demo/homerecording this is precise and neat work, and the music itself is enjoyable. I'd say, keep this up and grow even better! I, for one, will be looking forward to that.
